Rochester - Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo has been honored with a Special Achievement Award by the New York State Association of County Clerks (NYSACC). Dinolfo was recognized for her leadership in creating the Renew Monroe initiative to encourage residents to renew their vehicle registrations locally, providing training programs for online driver permit testing in area high schools and her efforts as Co-Chair of the NYSACC's courts committee. In addition, she was nominated by her fellow County Clerks from the Finger Lakes Region for the NYSACC County Clerk of the Year Award.
"I am honored to be recognized by my peers throughout New York State," said Dinolfo. "As County Clerks, we consistently strive to provide quality customer service at the lowest cost to taxpayers. Through programs like Renew Monroe, online driver permit testing and our efforts partnering with the Court System to improve technology, my fellow Clerks and I are working together on behalf of taxpayers."
County Clerk Dinolfo is currently Co-Chair of NYSACC's Courts Committee overseeing the electronic filing initiative with the State Office of Court Administration. She is also a member of the organization's Technology Task Force.
