Brooks Announces XLI Corporation is Business of the Month

Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks announced that XLI Corporation, a precision manufacturer, has been named Monroe County’s “Business of the Month.”
“I am proud to have XLI Corporation in Monroe County and am thankful for their commitment to our community,” said Brooks. “For over 40 years, XLI has continued to grow and flourish here in Monroe County and they remain here today because of our highly skilled workforce. I’d like to thank XLI for their continued commitment to growing and expanding their operations here locally.”
XLI Corporation was founded in 1967 by George Schott, and is now under the leadership of President, Peter Schott, a second generation owner. XLI provides precision manufacturing services for prismatic machining, rotational machining, sheet metal fabrication, assembly and test services and design services. These services are provided to leading equipment suppliers in a variety of industries including: Medical Diagnostics, Digital Imaging and Printing, Manufacturing Automation, Communications and Defense. Their typical product is a mechanical assembly which consists of machines parts, turned parts, sheet metal parts and purchased components (motors, fasteners, etc.)

In 2004, XLI built a 32,000 square feet building at 55 Vanguard Parkway in the City of Rochester. XLI has grown significantly over the last couple of years, from 40 employees in 2004 to 75 employees today. Over the years, XLI has taken advantage of COMIDA and GreatRate programs for building and equipment purchases. XLI Corporation has 75 employees.
