Brooks Announces Sendec Corporation Is Business Of The Month

Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks announced that SenDEC Corporation, a comprehensive electronic manufacturing services company, has been named Monroe County’s “Business of the Month”.

“SenDEC Corporation, located in Fairport, has been a true bright spot in our local economy for the past thirty-one years and I am proud they call Monroe County their home,” said Monroe County Executive Brooks. “I would like to thank SenDEC for their long-standing commitment to offering highly-skilled jobs for residents and growing and expanding their business in our community.”

SenDEC Corporation is organized into two main business units.  SenDEC’s CEM Group provides electronic manufacturing services which include: design for manufacturability, prototyping, printed circuit board and electromechanical assembly, test engineering, rework, supply chain management, and turnkey box build services.  SenDEC has a broad client base that includes startups, mid-sized companies, and Fortune 500 corporations worldwide that serve the commercial/industrial consumer, energy, medical, military, and telecommunication markets.

SenDEC Products Group manufactures its own family of digital monitoring, display and control devices that include solid-state electronic hour meters, tachometers, and engine monitors for more than twenty markets in over forty countries.

SenDEC is one of the fastest growing companies in the nation and was ranked 30th in the nation for “Fastest Growing Private Companies” in the Electronics Industry by Inc. 5000.   SenDEC also received the SMT Vision award for contract services from Surface Mount Technology Industry which honors products and services that have helped shape the printed circuit board manufacturing industry.  CEO and President Kenton Fiske was named the 2008 Small Business Person of the Year by the Small Business Council and SenDEC was also recognized as the 2007 Manufacturer of the Year from “Manufacturing Today”.  SenDEC worked with Monroe County’s Economic Development Department and received a variety of incentives through the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency.
