Brooks Announces Seneca Park Zoo Discount for Active Military Members

Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks announced that the Seneca Park Zoo is offering a $2 discount on general admission fees for Active Duty Military personnel and their immediate family members. Current members of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard are asked to present appropriate and valid identification at the Admission Booth.
“The Active Duty Military Discount is a small ‘thank you’ for those who currently serve in our Armed Forces,” said Brooks. “This is just one of several ways that Monroe County continues to support the thousands of local men and women serving our nation in the Armed Forces.”
Discounted Active Duty Military Fees are as follows:

           July 1st – October 31st       November 1st – December 31st
 
Adult (Age 12-62)   $9 discounted to $7               $7 discounted to $5
 
Senior (63 & older)   $8 discounted to $6                $6 discounted to $4
 
Youth (Age 3-11)    $6 discounted to $4               $4 discounted to $2
 
Child (under 2)       Free                                    Free

 
The Seneca Park Zoo will also offer a 10% discount on annual membership dues (Penguin Circle level and below) to military families who present proper identification at the time of purchase or renewal at the Admission or Membership booths. This cannot be combined with any other discount.
The Active Duty Military Discount does not apply to Zoo special event fees or to Zoo programs for which a ticket or fee is required. The discount is good through the end of the year and cannot be combined with any other offer.
