Monroe Community Hospital Foundation to Host 9th Annual Taste of Our Community Event
The Monroe Community Hospital Foundation, together with Marketview Liquor, will be hosting the 9th annual Taste of Our Community Wine & Food Tasting event on Friday, May 4, 2012 to benefit the residents of Monroe Community Hospital (MCH).
Held at MCH, this special evening is one of the finest wine and food tasting experiences in the region. The event includes premier wines paired with an elegant selection of food, desserts, coffees and entertainment. The event features a General Tasting, a Cellar Master Reserve Tasting, and a silent auction with unique items donated by local artists, restaurants, and businesses.
Monroe Community Hospital is world-class medical facility and home to 566 residents. Proceeds from the Taste of Our Community Wine & Food Tasting event will benefit the MCH Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that exists to support and enrich the quality of life of those individuals living at MCH. Our residents require continuing medical and nursing care and range in age from eight week old infants to adults more than one hundred years old.
“Monroe County is so fortunate to have such a highly regarded and respected medical facility in our community and we are proud of the first-class care Monroe Community Hospital provides our residents,” said County Executive Brooks. “Charitable events such as the wine tasting help support quality of life projects such as MCH Central Park, a wheelchair accessible bus, and other opportunities that keep our residents in touch with the Greater Rochester community.”
