Brooks Announces Calvary Automation Systems is Business of the Month

County Executive Maggie Brooks announced that Calvary Automation Systems (Calvary) has been named Monroe County’s “Business of the Month” and is featured on the Monroe County website, monroecounty.gov.
Founded by Mark Chaney in 1994, Calvary designs and manufactures automation equipment for the healthcare, consumer products, automotive, solar and sensor industries. State-of-the-art engineering, in addition to a highly-skilled workforce, have made Calvary a leading manufacturer of special machines, turnkey automated systems and specialized fixturing.
“I’m proud to recognize Calvary Automation Systems as an industry leader in robotics, sustainability and advanced manufacturing, right here in our own backyard,” said County Executive Brooks. “Through their continued advancement and growth, Calvary Automation Systems puts Monroe County on the map as they serve customers in a variety of markets around the world. We thank them for their investment in the local economy as they continue to create jobs and enhance our world-class quality of life.”
Calvary operates primarily out of a 374,000 square foot facility located at 855 Publishers Parkway in the Town of Webster. In 2011, Calvary launched a direct support office in Malaysia to improve service to their international customers. Their talented workforce is comprised of engineers, project managers, precision machinists, electricians and machine builders. Through their intense focus on customer care, Calvary has become one of the most successful advanced manufacturing companies in the world.

Calvary has expanded several times in Monroe County and most recently invested $6.6 million to acquire and renovate a long vacant facility in Webster. Calvary employs over 200 in Monroe County.
