Brooks Announces Rochester Magnet is August Business of the Month
County ExecutiveMaggie Brooks announced that Rochester Magnet has been named Monroe County’s “Business of the Month” for August of 2013 and is now featured on the Monroe County website at monroecounty.gov.
“Rochester Magnet is an incredibly unique small business that puts Monroe County on the map in a number of different ways,”said County Executive Brooks. “The growing global demand for flexible magnet and specialty adhesive tape have Rochester Magnet well positioned going forward. We thank them for their investment in the local economy as they continue to create jobs and enhance our world-class quality of life.”
Rochester Magnet is a leading converter of flexible magnetic materials and magnetic assemblies as well as pressure sensitive adhesive tape. For more than 25 years, Rochester Magnet has been a source to many sectors including Printing, Point-of-Sale Display, Sign Making, Packaging, and a wide variety of Industrial Applications, nationally and internationally.

At the East Rochester facility, Rochester Magnet has invested in new equipment which increased capacity and efficiency as well as expanded capabilities. By leveraging programs through the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency (COMIDA), these projects helped add new jobs to the area economy.
Rochester Magnet has 12 employees in Monroe County.
