Dinolfo Announces Several Events To Highlight Child Support Awareness

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced several events hosted by the Monroe County Child Support Enforcement Unit that recognize the critical role child support plays in the lives of millions of children.

“Here in Monroe County, we have one of the most effective Child Support Enforcement Units in New York State,” said Dinolfo. “I am very proud of our dedicated employees who do everything in their power to ensure that children receive the support necessary to lead healthy and productive lives.”

“Often, child support payments are the resources that prevent children from living in poverty,” said Human Services Commissioner Corinda Crossdale. “I would like to thank County Executive Dinolfo for promoting Child Support Awareness throughout Monroe County. Parents who are able to make their child support payments are more likely to stay involved in a child’s life and continue to provide financial and emotional support, even when they are living apart.”

In order to bring awareness to the benefits of child support and the great work of Monroe County’s Child Support Enforcement Unit, the Monroe County Department of Human Services will be sponsoring many awareness events in the community including:
