Dinolfo Announces Public Input Meeting For Proposed Road Project

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that the County’s Department of Transportation (DOT) is hosting a public input meeting to discuss a proposed road project on West Bloomfield Road in the Town of Mendon. The meeting will be held at the Mendon Community Center, 167 N. Main Street, on Tuesday, September 20th at 7:00 p.m.

“Road projects provide vital updates to our local infrastructure,” said Dinolfo. “Our goal is to make these projects effective, but also as convenient as possible for neighbors and the residents who use the roads. We look forward to the chance to hear feedback from members of the community.”

The project will affect West Bloomfield Road between Canfield Road and Smith Road in the Town of Mendon. The purpose of the meeting is to notify citizens that a culvert replacement project is being considered, but also to solicit comments, suggestions and ideas to be considered for project design. The meeting will also outline a tentative schedule for the project.

If residents are unable to attend the public input meeting, questions and concerns can still be directed to the Department of Transportation at (585) 753-7747.
