Parking at GRIA
*RAMP GARAGE EXPANSION & ELEVATOR ACCESS*
As of November, 2009 the Greater Rochester International Airport is proud to announce that we have added 860 parking spots on our premises. The ramp garage expansion is completed! Using only funds earned from parking revenue, we now offer hundreds of additional covered parking spaces. Several travelers have expressed the need for this over the past years. The same parking rates apply.
As part of this program, the elevators in the original section of the ramp garage are being replaced. Please note that a walkway & signage have been installed to direct you to a working elevator in the newly expanded section of the ramp garage. Thank you for your cooperation as we continute to upgrade our facility.
Cell Phone Lot
Rochester's cell phone lot not only provides convenient, free temporary parking to motorists waiting for arriving passengers, but also keeps traffic on the airport moving smoothly. The lot allows drivers to wait until their arriving passengers disembark the aircraft, collect their bags and are ready to be picked up. Vehicles waiting in the cell phone lot must be attended at all times. According to TSA requirements, there is no parking or waiting allowed on the airport roadways at any time. Hassle Free Travel Tips
-Arrive at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure time.
-Have a parking plan. Try our Valet Parking or Airport Economy Shuttle Parking & leave the running to us!
-Be sure to contact your air carrier before travel to verify luggage restrictions such as total number of bags allowed, size and weight of each bag.
-Be aware of items in your carry on luggage that may slow your process in passing through the security checkpoint. Try to minimize luggage if possible.
-Familiarize yourself with the new security directive regarding liquids & gels in your carry on luggage. Each passenger is allowed a single, clear, one quart, zip lock baggie for liquids & gels in quantities of three-ounces or less. Save time by packing your zip lock baggies at home. Visit www.tsa.gov for the latest information on this new security directive.
Passenger Pick-Up and Drop-Off
All passenger pick-up (lower level) and drop-off (upper level) locations are accessible to airport entrances. Skycap service is located on both the lower and upper levels to assist with baggage.
Curbside check-in is available, however it varies by airline. Please contact your individual airline to find out if they offer curbside check-in here.
Airport Valet Service
The Greater Rochester International Airport offers full Airport Valet parking service.
To use valet service at the Greater Rochester International Airport, please follow these two simple steps. Our friendly valet attendants will park your car, and it will be ready and waiting for you when you return!
- Drop off your car and keys at the Valet Station located on the airport’s upper level roadway. Our valet attendant will be waiting to greet you and park your car while you get on with your trip.
- When you return from your trip, your car will be waiting for you to pick up at the Valet Station on the airport’s lower level roadway, just outside the baggage claim.
Credit card payment only (American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard accepted). Sorry no cash or checks.
Airport Valet ... We Park, You Fly!

Airport Valet has a service charge of $20 plus a $13 daily parking fee.

On-Airport Parking
The Greater Rochester International Airport, always the most convenient place to fly from, is now better than ever with more competitive fares and easy on-site parking. Parking at the Greater Rochester International Airport is fast, convenient and close to the terminal.
Looking to save time? Check out the ZOOM LANE and our new Automated Pay Lanes. With Autopay passengers can pay using an automated machine at the toll plaza exit with cash, credit or debit. This new service is quick & easy! Look for Autopay signs as you exit the parking lots.
Please remember: All unattended vehicles on the terminal roadways will be ticketed and towed without warning according to federal guidelines. **In order to assist motorists who only need to visit the airport for 30 minutes or less, a grace period of 30 minutes is offered in the Short Term Lot which is in short walking distance of the terminal.
