Monroe County is accepting offers from parties interested in purchasing surplus "lever style" voting machines, series 129,000 – 149,999, that are no longer in use. Three hundred fifty (350) surplus voting machines are currently available for inspection and sale through the Monroe County Board of Elections. Monroe County offers the items on an "as is, where-is" basis and makes no representations that any of the items are operable or acceptable for use. Offers must be acceptable to the Board of Elections and in the best interest of the County. Payment will be made directly to the Monroe County Director of Finance by cashier or certified check. The County will have no further obligation or liability upon sale of the voting machines. Buyer accepts full responsibility for hauling the machines. The County is willing to entertain multiple offers until the inventory of machines is depleted.
