RFP#0009-08Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Alternate Certifier Support Services
Monroe County (“the County”) is seeking qualifications from qualified entities to provide an accessible location and support staffing for citizens to enhance access to and increase utilization of the Home Energy Assistance Program [HEAP) by income-eligible residents of Monroe County. The program should be in a safe, readily accessible location for citizens that is on a bus route and has free, handicapped-accessible parking. The County’s objective is to identify a partner who will help the County in outreach, intake and certification of application efforts to its population in obtaining HEAP regular and emergency benefits. Upon identification of a partner, the County will enter into a contract beginning Fall, 2008 with the option to renew for four additional HEAP season contracts. 		06/06/2008
