Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks today announced that Flower City Printing has been named Monroe County’s “Business of the Month” for January.

 

“Our community is recognized as a national leader in the printing industry  and Flower City Printing is one of the companies that put our region on the map,” said Brooks. “I want to thank Flower City Printing for providing good jobs and growing their business in Monroe County.”

 

“Flower City Printing continues to grow in the global marketplace by providing excellent products and services quickly with a ‘Yes We Can’ attitude,” said Flower City Printing. “The help from Monroe County has enabled us to improve and expand our operations and invest our money in hiring additional workers.”

 

Flower City Printing was founded in Rochester in 1970 and currently employs 264 in Monroe County. It is one of the premier large format printers in the United States. The company provides a variety of products and services for nationally recognized retailers and consumer products companies.

 

Monroe County assisted Flower City Printing with its Lee Road facility expansion last year.

 

Flower City Printing received the 2007 Best Workplace in the Americas Award in the large company category from Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation.
