  • Accountant (Application Deadline)
    Information: This is a professional accounting position involving responsibility for accounting records and the preparation of financial reports and analyses. Work is performed under supervision, with moderate exercise of independent judgment, but in accordance with outlined objectives, policies and procedures. Work may involve the use of an automated or manual accounting system. Supervision may be exercised over a small number of clerical employees.
  • Senior Accountant (Application Deadline)
    Information: This is a senior-level position involving responsibility for the design, modification and/or implementation of new or existing accounting procedures and business office systems. Employees may perform the more complex accounting operations of the unit. Work may involve use of an automated or manual accounting system. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of a higher level staff member with considerable exercise of independent judgement, but in accordance with outlined objectives, policies and procedures. Supervision may be exercised over Accountants, Junior Accountants and clerical employees.

  • Clerk Typist, CT-0621-08 (Application Deadline)
    Information: This is an entry level clerical work involving responsibility for the performance of routine clerical tasks. Independent judgment is restricted to the application of standard procedures to specific cases. Typing is an integral part of this position. Employees receive detailed oral and/or written instructions for new, more involved or difficult assignments. The work is reviewed by immediate supervisory observation, by cross checking, or by another step in the clerical process. Direct supervision is received from a higher level clerical employee or an administrator who is available to assist with difficult or policy problems.
  • Clerk Typist - Bilingual, CTB-0621-08 (Application Deadline)
    Information: This is an entry level clerical work involving responsibility for the performance of routine clerical tasks. Independent judgment is restricted to the application of standard procedures to specific cases. The employee is required to be fluent in Spanish and English. Typing is an integral part of this position. Employees receive detailed oral and/or written instructions for new, more involved or difficult assignments. The work is reviewed by immediate supervisory observation, by cross checking, or by another step in the clerical process. Direct supervision is received from a higher level clerical employee or an administrator who is available to assist with difficult or policy problems.
  • Data Entry Operator, DEO-0607-08 (Application Deadline)
    Information: This is a data entry position involving the operation of a data transcription machine to enter and verify data utilizing a variety of formats and source documents. Data is transcribed either directly into a computer or to punch cards, or magnetic tapes or discs using alpha numeric equipment and requires a high degree of speed and accuracy. Duties involve the use of limited independent judgment when interacting with the central computer in order to correct errors, etc. Incumbents may also perform limited clerical duties in support of data entry operations, however, the majority of the workday is spent keyboarding data. The work is performed under the direct supervision of a senior level staff person following well defined and structured procedures.

  • Assistant Cook (Application Deadline)
    Information: This is an entry level cooking position involving responsibility for assisting in the preparation of hot and cold food items to serve students, faculty, patients, and patrons in a school or institutional cafeteria or in hospital rooms. Employees work closely with the Cook in preparing the main entree and operate those pieces of kitchen equipment requiring careful attention to safety practices and precautions. When assigned to an educational facility, the Assistant Cook may work under direct supervision of a Cook in an elementary school, under a Cook Manager in a junior or senior high school, or be in charge in a satellite operation serving pre-cooked food that requires portioning and heating. When assigned to an institutional setting, the Assistant Cook works under direct supervision of a Cook, Supervising Cook, or Dietitian. The Assistant Cook assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Cook during absences. The Assistant Cook may assign tasks to food service employees. Does related work as required.
