Brooks Announces Television Recycling and Reuse Options

Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks announced recycling and reuse options for residents who have televisions that may be affected by next week’s DTV digital conversion. On Friday, June 12th, 2009, federal law requires that all full-power TV broadcast stations halt broadcasting in analog format and switch to digital format. This change will cause certain older TVs to no longer function.

Brooks Announces Plan for Green Energy at Airport
