Dinolfo Announces Holiday Show at Highland Park's Lamberton Conservatory

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that the 2017 Holiday Botanical Show at Monroe County’s Lamberton Conservatory will open to the public on Saturday, December 2nd and run through January 7, 2018. Now in its 106th year, this eye-catching and aromatic horticultural exhibit is a popular annual tradition at Highland Park.

“We’ve again decked the halls of our Conservatory in the spirit of the season and I welcome everyone to come enjoy this one-of-a-kind holiday display soon,” said Dinolfo. “To make your trip to see our beautiful Poinsettias, trees, wreaths, and lights even easier, we are happy to be offering extended holiday hours on Friday and Sunday evenings through January 7. The Conservatory’s holiday show is fun for all ages and a great opportunity to start a new tradition for the whole family!”

Over 1000 Poinsettias, representing a record 25 different varieties, will be on display at the Conservatory. Additionally, the Highland Park Bowl will feature a 20-foot tall lighted Christmas Tree for all to enjoy!

“As is tradition, our Holiday Botanical Show will feature an eight-foot high Poinsettia pyramid, which is a crowd pleaser year after year” said Larry Staub, Director of County Parks. “In addition to the festive flora, holiday visitors will be treated to a dazzling display of colorful lights strung throughout the Conservatory.”

The 2017 Holiday Botanical Show will be on display at the Lamberton Conservatory from Saturday, December 2, 2017 through Sunday, January 7, 2018. The Conservatory is located in Monroe County’s Highland Park at 180 Reservoir Avenue and is open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (closed Christmas Day). This year, the Conservatory will be open for extended hours on Fridays and Sundays until 9:00 p.m., throughout the run of the show. Admission is, as follows: Adult Admission is $3.00 per person; Youth Admission (ages 6 through 18) and Senior Admission (ages 62 and up) is $2.00 per person; Admission for supervised Children (through age 5) is FREE.
