There are no scheduled Home Fire Arms Safety Courses for 2023 as of now. Due to New York State’s September 1, 2022 law requiring residents applying for a Concealed Carry License must take a 16+2 hour safety course.
We are working with our attorneys to be ABLE to provide this to our residents. We apologize for the delay in scheduling the 2023 classes.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is committed to bringing home fire arms safety awareness to the residents of Monroe County. To register for the Home Fire Arms Safety Course, complete and submit the web form below. Please bring the following items with you for the class: Pen/Pencil, a bag lunch, and beverage.
