Dinolfo Announces East Side Regional Recycling Collection

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that the County’s Department of Environmental Services (DES) is hosting a joint household hazardous waste (HHW), electronic waste and document shredding event in conjunction with the towns of Perinton and Pittsford and the villages of East Rochester, Fairport and Pittsford.

The collection is taking place at the Town of Perinton Highway Garage located at 100 Cobbs Lane, on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 pm.

“Monroe County is thrilled to again partner with the towns of Perinton and Pittsford and the villages of East Rochester, Fairport, and Pittsford to host our upcoming eastside household hazardous waste collection,” said Dinolfo. “Our free and open to the public event is a great opportunity to get rid of those hard to dispose of items during your spring cleaning. Bring your household waste to the Town of Perinton Highway Garage on May 12 and help us keep Monroe County beautiful so we can attract even more jobs and investment here throughout 2018.”
