Environmental Facilities Mechanic

Description of Duties
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma or graduation from a trade school with a major in a mechanical trade, plus EITHER:
(A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s degree (or 60 college semester credit hours) in a natural science, engineering science, civil engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, chemical technology, instrumentation technology, environmental science or a closely related field; OR,
(B) Two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience in a universal mechanical trade such as power transmission equipment, material handling equipment, millwright work, welding, plumbing, construction trades, hydraulics/pneumatics equipment, automotive repair, pipe-fitting, electrical, or machine shop; OR,
(C) Any equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.
