Dinolfo Announces Recruiting On The Road Coming To Brockport

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced Monroe County will bring a Recruiting on the Road Job Fair to Brockport on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. This Recruiting on the Road job fair will feature nearly 20 businesses looking to hire individuals in competitive fields for more than 250 positions.

Dinolfo Shares Summer Recycling Tips

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and the Monroe County Department of Environmental Services (DES) released seasonal recycling tips that should guide recycling habits for residents all summer long. In addition, Dinolfo advised residents to properly dispose of certain items which can cause harm to employees and equipment at the Recycling Center, like propane tanks, lithium batteries and pool chemicals.

Dinolfo Announces Friday Family Fun Days And Nights At Seneca Park Zoo

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and Seneca Park Zoo officials announced Friday Family Fun Days and Nights at Seneca Park Zoo on Friday, June 28 and Friday, August 30. On these days, the Zoo will be open extended hours, with last entry at 8 p.m. Once in the Zoo, guests may stay until 9 p.m.

Dinolfo Introduces Legislation To Bring Suit Blocking Drivers License For Illegal Immigrants

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo officially introduced legislation to the County Legislature seeking authorization to bring a lawsuit against the State of New York to challenge the new law that allows drivers’ licenses to be issued to illegal immigrants. Specifically, the County’s suit will assert, among other claims, that the new State law violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution by putting citizens and non-citizens on unequal footing under the rule of law.

ROC Airport Canopy Lights The Skies White, Blue, And Gold In Honor Of Bellavia

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) terminal canopy will light the skies white, blue, and gold tonight in honor of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant David Bellavia, who will receive the Medal of Honor tomorrow in Washington, D.C.

Dinolfo Dedicates Life-Size Giraffe Sculpture At Seneca Park Zoo

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and officials from the Seneca Park Zoo “unveiled” and dedicated a life-size giraffe sculpture, created by artist James “Jay” Seaman and commissioned and donated by Gill and Gail Petri of East Rochester. The sculpture is located at the entrance of the Animals of the Savanna building, which opened in 2018 as part of the Zoo’s Phase 1 Master Plan Improvements.

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that Imagine Monroe approved assistance for four local economic development projects. These projects are anticipated to retain 477 jobs and create 168 full-time equivalent jobs in Monroe County.

Dinolfo Dedicates The Joe And Jean Carrozzi Performance Pavilion And Kicks Off The Wegmans Concerts By The Shore Series

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo joined members of the community in a dedication ceremony to rename the pavilion at Ontario Beach Park the “Joe and Jean Carrozzi Performance Pavilion”. This dedication is in honor of the Carrozzi’s legacy as the founders of the Ontario Beach Park Program Committee and their dedication to Charlotte and Monroe County. Started by Joe and Jean Carrozzi in 1984, the Ontario Beach Park Program Committee has hosted a variety of events in an effort to bring people together to enjoy the beauty of Ontario Beach Park while spending quality time with friends, family and neighbors.
