Dinolfo Announces Special Recruiting On The Road Job Fair And Hiring Event With Maximus

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced Monroe County will partner with Maximus for a special Recruiting on the Road Job Fair and Hiring Event on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. This special event features over 300 available positions through Maximus with competitive rates of pay, including benefits, quarterly bonuses and advancement opportunities. Representatives will be on-hand to screen, interview and give job offers to candidates for select positions.

Legislature Authorizes Dinolfo To Sue State To Stop Drivers Licenses For Illegal Immigrants

The Monroe County Legislature passed legislation authorizing County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo to bring a lawsuit against the State of New York to challenge the new “Green Light Law”, which allows drivers’ licenses to be issued to illegal immigrants. Specifically, the County’s pending suit will assert, among other claims, that the new State law violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution by putting citizens and non-citizens on unequal footing under the law.

Dinolfo To Make Quality Childcare More Affordable For Working Families

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that Monroe County will soon be making quality childcare more affordable for 2,200 low-income families. Dinolfo has directed the Monroe County Department of Human Services to cut the “Parent Fee” component of the County’s subsidized childcare programming from the current rate of 35% of the cost of care to a new, lower rate of 25%.

Dinolfo Announces Recruiting On The Road Coming To Brockport

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced Monroe County will bring a Recruiting on the Road Job Fair to Brockport on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. This Recruiting on the Road job fair will feature nearly 20 businesses looking to hire individuals in competitive fields for more than 250 positions.

Dinolfo Shares Summer Recycling Tips

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and the Monroe County Department of Environmental Services (DES) released seasonal recycling tips that should guide recycling habits for residents all summer long. In addition, Dinolfo advised residents to properly dispose of certain items which can cause harm to employees and equipment at the Recycling Center, like propane tanks, lithium batteries and pool chemicals.

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that Monroe County’s Department of Environmental Services (DES) has been named the recipient of a 2019 Bronze Telly Award for their “Recycling Right Begins With You: An Inside Look at the Monroe County Recycling Center” video. Dinolfo Announces Friday Family Fun Days And Nights At Seneca Park Zoo

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and Seneca Park Zoo officials announced Friday Family Fun Days and Nights at Seneca Park Zoo on Friday, June 28 and Friday, August 30. On these days, the Zoo will be open extended hours, with last entry at 8 p.m. Once in the Zoo, guests may stay until 9 p.m.

ROC Airport Canopy Lights The Skies White, Blue, And Gold In Honor Of Bellavia

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) terminal canopy will light the skies white, blue, and gold tonight in honor of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant David Bellavia, who will receive the Medal of Honor tomorrow in Washington, D.C.

Dinolfo Dedicates Life-Size Giraffe Sculpture At Seneca Park Zoo

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and officials from the Seneca Park Zoo “unveiled” and dedicated a life-size giraffe sculpture, created by artist James “Jay” Seaman and commissioned and donated by Gill and Gail Petri of East Rochester. The sculpture is located at the entrance of the Animals of the Savanna building, which opened in 2018 as part of the Zoo’s Phase 1 Master Plan Improvements.
