Dinolfo Announces Job Fair Coming To Webster

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced Monroe County will bring a Recruiting on the Road Job Fair to the Town of Webster on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. This month’s Recruiting on the Road job fair features several local businesses looking to hire individuals in competitive fields, and will be held at the Webster Public Library.

“My heart breaks for the family of New York State Trooper Nicholas Clark, killed today in the line of duty just south of our area. Trooper Clark’s loss is a tragic reminder of the many dangers law enforcement officers face every time they put on the badge on our behalf. As we spend time with our own friends and family this week, may we all take time to recognize and appreciate the sacrifices made by those who serve in uniform to keep us safe, both at home and abroad. I ask that our entire community join me in keeping the Clark family and all New York State Troopers in our thoughts and prayers today and in the days to come.”

Dinolfo Shares Summer Recycling Tips

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and the Monroe County Department of Environmental Services (DES) released seasonal recycling tips that should guide recycling habits for residents all summer long. In addition, Dinolfo advised residents to properly dispose of certain items which can cause harm to employees and equipment at the Recycling Center, like propane tanks, lithium batteries and pool chemicals.

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo, representatives from the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) and SSP America announced a unique public naming contest for two new eateries coming to the airport as part of the transformational ROC Renovation Project. In conjunction with the announcement, Dinolfo unveiled design renderings for the new casual diner to be located near Concourse A and the new sports bar to be located near Concourse B, which are both slated to open to the public this fall.

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that Monroe County’s credit ratings remain strong, according to multiple international bond rating agencies. S&P Global Ratings released their latest report on the County’s credit standing this week, affirming the County’s ‘A’ rating while upgrading its long-term outlook to ‘Positive’ from ‘Stable’. Moody’s Investors Service also affirmed their ‘A3 / Positive’ rating for the County. The County will benefit from these improved ratings by securing lower interest rates for future borrowing, ultimately saving taxpayer dollars.

Dinolfo Announces Winners of First Annual STOP-DWI High School Radio Contest

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo today announced the winners of the first annual Monroe County STOP DWI High School Radio contest. This contest invites local high school students to create 30-second public service announcements about the dangers of drunk driving. Dinolfo was joined at the awards ceremony by STOP DWI Coordinator Peggy Duffy and local high school students.
