Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and Rochester Construction Career Day Chair Craig Clark announced the 2018 return of Rochester Construction Career Day, to be held on Thursday, October 25, at the Monroe County Fleet Center, 145 Paul Road. The 20th Annual event will be held 9:00 a.m. until Noon.

Dinolfo Announces County's Historic Dentzel Carousel is Repaired and Re-Opened to Public

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that the historic Dentzel Menagerie Carousel at Ontario Beach Park in Charlotte is repaired and now open to the public for a compressed 2018 Season. The 113-year old carousel has been out of commission since July 26, 2017 due to the failure of an important original mechanical component of the ride. The carousel has operated every year at the park, its original location, since it first opened in 1905.
