Dinolfo Urges Caution During Extremely Cold Winter Weather

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo is urging residents to use additional caution due to extreme winter weather. Temperatures are not expected to rise over 20 degrees in the next 10 days and the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory through 7:00PM tonight as well as a wind chill advisory through Thursday afternoon.

Dinolfo Announces Extended Hours to Allow Early Property Tax Payments

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced extended hours for City residents to pay their 2018 town/county property tax bills early. The County Treasurer’s Office will be open on Saturday, December 30th from 9:00AM to 1:00PM in order to accommodate residents who wish to pay their property taxes early. Residents in the City of Rochester can make their payment in person at the County Office Building. Residents in surrounding communities should contact their town for more information.

Dinolfo Announces Special Zoo Admission Offer for Christmas Weekend

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and Seneca Park Zoo officials are pleased to announce a special admission offer for the upcoming holiday weekend. On Saturday, December 23 and Sunday, December 24, enjoy free Zoo admission for one youth (ages 3-11) for every adult ticket purchased.

Dinolfo Expedites Property Tax Bills to Allow Early Payment

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that county/town tax bills will be prepared early and posted on Monroe County’s website, www.monroecounty.gov, no later than 9:00 A.M. on December 29, 2017 in order to allow residents to pay their 2018 tax bills on the last day of business in the year 2017.

Dinolfo Announces New Tool to Coordinate Response During Winter Weather Events

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo was joined by representatives from municipal Departments of Public Works (DPW) in Monroe County to announce a new tool to coordinate our community’s collective response during winter weather events. The Snow and Ice Board, a new component of the County’s existing WebEOC technology, will provide a streamlined resource for municipal DPW’s to report up-to-the-minute conditions on the ground and help to inform and guide local response efforts.

Dinolfo Appoints Frelier as Director of Transportation

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced the appointment of Timothy Frelier as Director of Monroe County’s Department of Transportation (DOT). Frelier currently serves as Deputy Director of Transportation and Head of the Highway Engineering and Operations Division.

Dinolfo Announces Imagine Monroe Year-End Results: 1,000+ Jobs Created, 3,000+ Retained

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced the year-end results of Imagine Monroe’s economic development efforts. Since the beginning of the year, Imagine Monroe has approved 107 projects that have created 1,042 jobs, retained 3,099 jobs, and attracted a total of $1.3 billion in private investment in Monroe County.

Monroe County Partners with Pirate Toy Fund for Second Annual Toy Giveaway

Dinolfo Continues "Coats for Kids" to Provide Warm Coats for Students this Winter

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo was joined by Caterina Leone-Mannino, Principal of Enrico Fermi School No. 17, to provide winter coats to School 17 students through Monroe County’s “Coats for Kids” program. Since its launch in 2014, “Coats for Kids” has provided over 500 winter coats to local schoolchildren in need.
