The GIS Department is located on the 7th floor of Monroe County City Place Building (50 W. Main St.) in Downtown Rochester, on the corner of West Main and Fitzhugh Street. You can get to Fitzhugh Street by taking the Plymouth Avenue exits from I-490.

From Buffalo traveling East:
- Take the Plymouth/Downtown Exit
- Turn right on Plymouth and go to the second traffic light which is W. Main Street
- Turn left on West Main and the next light is Fitzhugh Street
From Syracuse traveling West:
- Take the Plymouth/Broad Street Exit onto South Washington Street
- Proceed North on South Washington to West Main Street
- Turn Right on West Main and the next traffic light is Plymouth Avenue
- Proceed straight to your next light which is Fitzhugh Street
Parking
Downtown parking is available at several locations near City Place, the closest being Sister Cities Garage, just South of Main Street across from City Place Building.
