Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks and her husband Bob Wiesner, Honorary Chairs of the 2006 Red Kettle Campaign, took time to ring the bell outside Marketplace Mall. Brooks and Wiesner were also joined by the local contemporary a cappella group InnerLoop.

It is our great honor to serve as Honorary Chairs of the 2006 Red Kettle Campaign. The Salvation Army provides a tremendous amount of support and hope in our community,” said Brooks. “Supporting the Salvation Army has been a holiday tradition in our family and we strongly encourage all Monroe County families to participate in the Red Kettle Campaign. No donation is too small.”

In addition to taking the time to ring the bell for this worthy cause, County Executive Brooks organized a number of bell ringers so that the kettle will be staffed for the duration of the day. They are County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo, Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn, District Attorney Mike Green as well as County Legislators Jeff Adair, Jack Driscoll, Tony LaFountain, Dave Malta, Dan Quatro, and Mary Valerio.
