The winter’s extreme weather conditions have caused a large number of potholes on Monroe County roadways. MCDOT has an aggressive pothole repair program currently underway. There is much work to do and our crews cannot possibly find every pothole on their own. That’s why we are asking for your help! If you come across a pothole on a County roadway, please report it to our dispatch center by submitting the form below.
When filling in the form below, please remember to be specific about the location of the pothole. Landmarks, travel lane direction, adjacent house addresses and the like are all very helpful for our crews trying to locate and repair the pothole.
Note: Please do NOT use this reporting form to report potholes on expressways (104, 390, 490, 590, LOSP) or residential streets within the City of Rochester. All area expressways are maintained by the New York State Department of Transportation. To report potholes on expressways, please use the NYSDOT toll-free hotline, 1-800-POTHOLE (1-800-768-4653). Potholes on City of Rochester streets should be reported to 311 (within the City limits) or 585-428-5990. You can also report potholes to the City of Rochester using their online form by clicking here.
