Churchville Park

General Information

Churchville Park is full of fun recreational areas: a softball field, soccer field, tennis courts, playgrounds, a golf course, a natural ice skating rink and a disc (frisbee) golf course. Churchville's 742 acres includes five lodges and six shelters are available for rental. Churchville Park also offers a car-top boat launch.

Location and Directions

Churchville Park is located in the southwestern portion of Monroe County, north of Route 33 (Buffalo Road), partially within the Village of Churchville and the Town of Riga. Enter the park off Kendall Road and Main Street.

Rules and Regulations

Churchville Park is open daily 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and has a Carry In-Carry Out rule, which means you must take all your garbage with you for disposal after leaving the park. Glass is not allowed. All pets must be leashed and you are responsible for cleaning up after them.

Winter Park Hours

November 1st until March 31st, Monday through Thursday the park is open 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Lodges are available at 10:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m.

Friday through Sunday the park is open from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Lodges are available 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Summer Park Hours

April 1st until October 31st, the park is open everyday from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Lodges and shelters are available to rent from 10:00 a.m.

Restrooms

There are four restrooms spread throughout Churchville Park: near Hickory Grove Shelter, Anderson #2 Shelter, by the Church Lodge and the Pine Tree lodge. See the park map for specific locations.

Water Activities

There is a car top Boat Launch located towards the end of Park Road.

Fishing is allowed in the Creek with a fishing license. For fish regulations (size and season) please contact the County Clerks Office.

Winter Activities

Churchville park offers ice skating on a rink located by the Church Lodge off Main Street. The hours are from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., for rink conditions call 585 753-PARK (7275).

Playgrounds

There is some playground equipment located throughout the park on either side of the Fairview Shelter, by the East and West Lodges, off of Main Street, between the Cottonwood Lodge and the Pinetree Lodge. See the park map for specific locations.

Sports Fields

There are three baseball diamonds, two located by the Shadyside Shelter off of Beechwood Drive. and one located by the Pinetree Lodge off of Main Street. There are two soccer fields, one located by the Shadyside Shelter, and the other off of Gilman Road. See the park map for specific locations.
