Senior Clinical Systems Administrator, prov.
Description of Duties
This is a senior-level, technical position at Monroe Community Hospital (MCH) responsible for the management, training, evaluation, and maintenance of clinical information. Duties involve providing and managing hardware and software, end-user support and training, account management, and user access levels related to the electronic medical record system utilized by the MCH staff while ensuring emergency off-hours technical support is available. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Assistant Director - Patient Services or other higher-level staff member. General supervision is exercised over Clinical Systems Administrators and other technical staff. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
PROPOSED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma plus either:
(A) Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree, plus two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent professional** experience in an information technology field***; OR,
(B) Graduation with an Associate’s degree, plus four (4) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent professional** experience in an information technology field***; OR,
(C) Five *(5) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent professional** experience in an information technology field**; OR
(D) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C) above.
**Professional experience for the purpose of these minimum qualifications does not include secretarial, clerical, or receptionist-type duties.
***Information technology field for the purpose of these minimum qualifications is defined as experience in systems administration, network administration, informatics, designing of computer systems and applications or the management or support of computer systems and applications.
