New COVID-19 Procedures

In order to maintain healthy practices to protect staff and customers, new procedures have been created. Upon entering room 101 of this office you will be required to wear a mask, take a ticket, and wait in the atrium of the County Office Building until your number is called. 


Fishing and Sporting Licenses

The Monroe County Clerk’s Office sells New York State fishing licenses and all other sporting licenses, such as small and big game, bow hunting and turkey permits.

Sporting licenses are also available at all town clerk’s offices and various sporting goods stores or bait and tackle shops.

Proof of identification, New York State residency and age are required when applying for a sporting license. If applying for a hunting or bow license, also be prepared to produce evidence of prior training.
