Ontario Beach - Summer 2025
Earn $17.36 to $20.51 per hour
Monroe County Parks is looking for qualified lifeguards and lifeguard officers to patrol the Ontario Beach Park public swimming area on Lake Ontario (in the Charlotte neighborhood of Rochester, NY)
Qualifications:
- Candidates should be responsible, mature, physically fit, cooperative, team players, able to communicate, and must be certified in Lifeguarding and CPR / First Aid / AED before their first shift
- Candidates who receive their lifeguard certification in 2025 are eligible for reimbursement of course fees, up to $200
Requirements:
- Candidates must be at least 15 years of age and live in Monroe County
- Swim season runs from approximately Friday, June 20 through Labor Day weekend
- Earn $17.36 to $20.51 per hour
(experienced lifeguards may be eligible for Lieutenant and Captain positions at the top of this payscale, entry level lifeguards start closer to the bottom of this range) - Full Time & Part Time Opportunities Available
