About Polling Sites

Polling sites within Monroe County are designated by the Board of Elections and inspected for ADA accessibility.  When you check in at the polling site, you will be asked to state your name and address and to mark your signature confirming the information to be true.  If you need assistance while voting, federal law allows you to have a friend, relative or an available election inspector assist you. The Board also has a TTY number for hearing impaired voters (585)753-1544. PPE and sanitizer will be available at all sites.

Voter Verification Letters

Per New York State Election Law, once a year the Board of Elections distributes voter verification letters informing registered voters of their polling location. The letters also state other important voter information including an election district number. It may be helpful to know your election district if there is more than one district using the same polling site on Election Day.
