Due to COVID-19, the Monroe County Department of Public Health is suspending its Practical Learning Experiences until further notice. 

Practical Learning Experiences in Public Health

The Monroe County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) offers a limited number of unpaid practical learning experiences, such as internships or clinical rotations, to undergraduate and graduate students, residents and fellows for the purpose of enhancing their education and training in public health and related fields of study.

In order to accept qualified candidates, the MCDPH must have an active Memorandum of Understanding with their educational institution.

Application Deadlines:

  • Spring Semester, Canceled due to COVID-19
  • Summer Semester, Canceled due to COVID-19
  • Fall Semester, Canceled due to COVID-19
