Librarian II
Description of Duties
This is a professional library position which involves work of a specialized nature in one or more aspects of library service. This employee works under general supervision of, and reports directly to, a professional librarian. General supervision may be exercised over the work of Librarians I and nonprofessional staff members.
Minimum Qualifications
Brighton, Greece, Parma and Pittsford Public Libraries:
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class at an agency listed above and must have served continuously for twelve (12) months holding the position of Librarian I immediately preceding the date of the written test. Provisional time served immediately before a permanent appointment to the same title(s) will be credited.
