Description of Duties
This is a supervisory position responsible for the formulation and organization of a program of internal safety, security and fire prevention. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a higher-level member. General supervision is exercised over guards and other clerical staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in a Monroe County Department and must have served continuously for twelve (12) months holding the position of Security Coordinator immediately preceding the date of the written test. Provisional time served immediately before a permanent appointment to the same title(s) will be credited.
