Supervisor Of Safety And Security

Description of Duties

This is a supervisory position responsible for the formulation and organization of a program of internal safety, security and fire prevention. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a higher-level member. General supervision is exercised over guards and other clerical staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Rochester City School District:

Candidates must be permanently employed in the non-competitive class at the Rochester City School District and must have served continuously for sixty (60) months holding the position of School Sentry I or School Sentry I - Bilingual immediately preceding the date of the written test. Provisional time served immediately before a permanent appointment to the same title(s) will be credited.

Spencerport Central School District:

Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class at the Spencerport Central School District and must have served continuously for twenty-four (24) months holding the position of Senior Security Worker immediately preceding the date of the written test. Provisional time served immediately before a permanent appointment to the same title(s) will be credited.
