Description of Duties
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements on or before the date of the written exam:
EITHER:
(A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or a related field plus seven (7) years of paid full‑time or its part‑time or volunteer equivalent* experience in budget preparation, budget analysis, financial planning, financial analysis, or management analysis in a public or private agency, one (1) year of which shall have involved the operation of a computer using software related to the reporting and analysis of financial data; OR,
(B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance or closely related field plus five (5) years of experience as defined in (A) above; OR,
(C) Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to indicate ability to do the work as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.
