Description of Duties
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements on or before the date of the written exam:
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Education plus four (4) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent** experience teaching adults or children in a structured environment such as a school or pre-school, one (1) year of which must have included supervision* of staff.
*supervision, for the purpose of these minimum qualifications, may include acting in a lead supervisory capacity (participating in and overseeing projects, or directing and coordinating the work of others), or higher supervisory level.
