Description of Duties
This is an entry-level professional position in the Monroe County Public Health Department focusing on providing nutrition and lactation counseling, and related client services to socio-economically disadvantaged women, their infants, and children. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of a higher‑level staff member. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences, Community Nutrition, Clinical or Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition or Public Health Nutrition.
