Supervising Therapist
Description of Duties
This is an administrative and professional position, responsible for directing, planning and coordinating the physical, occupational, and speech therapy rehabilitative services provided by Monroe Community Hospital. Responsibilities involve developing and implementing policies, procedures and standards for administration of these services. Work is conducted in accordance with state and federal licensing, regulatory and certifying agencies. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services. General supervision is exercised over a professional, technical and clerical staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in the Monroe Community Hospital and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist immediately preceding the date of the written test.
A combination of time served in multiple titles sufficient to meet the maximum period of required service is also qualifying.
