Chief Of Highway And Bridge Engineering
Description of Duties
This is a licensed professional engineering position in the Monroe County Department of Transportation responsible for the operation and maintenance of a drawbridge and directing the design and construction of all County highways, bridges and culverts. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Director of Transportation or other higher-level staff member. General supervision is exercised over engineering and operations staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in the Monroe County Department of Transportation and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Transportation Project Manager immediately preceding the date of the written test.
