Director Of Personnel

Description of Duties
This is an administrative and supervisory job involving responsibility for formulating and administering the personnel policies of a town or school district. Employees of this class receive general supervision from, and report directly to, an administrator. Direct supervision is exercised over clerical staff, student interns and/or professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
BOCES #1:
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class at BOCES #1 and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position Senior Personnel Analyst, Senior Personnel Technician or Associate Personnel Analyst immediately preceding the date of the written test.
A combination of time served in multiple titles sufficient to meet the maximum period of required service is also qualifying.
