United States Air Force Thunderbirds headline the event sponsored by A.P. Property Services; Honor Flight Rochester named charitable benefit recipient

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello and the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport today announced the official lineup for the 2023 A.P. Property Services Rochester International Airshow. The popular community event will return to the Rochester skies the weekend of Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13, 2023, and will feature the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and other exciting aerial performers. A.P. Property Services will be the title sponsor for this year’s Airshow, and Honor Flight Rochester will be the charitable beneficiary.

Property Services as the title sponsor for our 2023 Airshow, and have an exciting lineup of acts and displays for the two day event, headlined by the United State Air Force Thunderbirds,” said Monroe County Executive Adam Bello. “Most importantly, a portion of the proceeds from the Airshow will go to Honor Flight Rochester, which does so much great work for veterans throughout our community. We look forward to welcoming the Thunderbirds, and all of the acts, to our airport for another performance in Monroe County – an experience that promises to leave spectators on the edge of their seats!”
ROC has been fortunate to host the Thunderbirds four previous times in the last 16 years when they were the featured act at ROC Airshows in 2005, 2008, 2014 and 2019. The Thunderbirds are the official air demonstration team of the United States Air Force and are stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

A.P. Enterprises was founded in 1990 with only one snow plow truck. Today, the company has over 200 pieces of equipment, hires 45-50 people just for the winter season, and operates a 24- hour fleet support vehicle. It is known for its support and generosity of many community organizations throughout Monroe County.
A portion of the proceeds from the 2023 A.P. Property Services Rochester International Airshow will be donated to Honor Flight Rochester. Since 2008, Honor Flight Rochester has been bringing veterans to their memorials in Washington, D.C. for a once in a lifetime experience and a proper “Welcome Home.”
