Monroe County will host six family-friendly film screenings from June through August all free to the public.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today announced the lineup for the 2024 season of Movies in the Park, a series of six free family-friendly movie screenings:
“Movies in the Park is a great option for summer family activities. Monroe County is proud to offer free, family-friendly movie nights at our parks, baseball stadium, and even our zoo,” said County Executive Bello. “This summer, grab some snacks and a blanket and join us for Movies in the Park.”
Movies in the Park runs from June to September. All movies begin at dusk, or approximately a half hour after sunset. For movies at Innovative Field, gates will open at 7 p.m. Event dates are as follows:
- Atlantis (June 28th – Ontario Beach Park)
- The Lego Movie (July 12th – Webster Park Campground)
- The Sandlot (July 18th – Innovative Field)
- The Lion King (July 26th - Seneca Park Zoo)
- Honey I Shrunk the Kids (August 7th – Innovative Field)
- A Bug’s Life (August 30th – Highland Park)
“We’re pleased to bring back our Movies in the Park program for another summer,” said Patrick Meredith, Director Monroe County Parks. “We have a very exciting lineup of movies this year and it is a great way for families to enjoy the outdoors and our Monroe County Parks.”
