Monroe County will host six family-friendly film screenings from June through August, all free to the public.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today announced the lineup for the 2025 season of Movies in the Park, a series of six free family-friendly movie screenings.
“Movies in the Park is a great opportunity for family and friends to get together, spend some time outdoors, and enjoy a few all-time favorite films for free this summer,” said County Executive Bello. “Join us at the Zoo, Innovative Field, and several parks for movies under the stars. Don’t forget your popcorn, candy and a blanket for the full experience!”
Movies in the Park runs from June to September. All movies begin at dusk, or approximately a half hour after sunset. For movies at Innovative Field, gates will open at 7 p.m. Event dates are as follows:
- Friday, June 27: Moana 2 at Ontario Beach Park
- Thursday, July 17: Angels in the Outfield at Innovative Field
- Friday, July 25: Madagascar at Seneca Park Zoo
- Thursday, August 7: Homeward Bound at Innovative Field
- Friday, August 15: October Sky at Highland Park
- Friday, August 29: The Wild Robot at Webster Park
“We’re happy to bring back our Movies in the Park program for another summer,” said Patrick Meredith, Director of Monroe County Parks. “We have a lineup of movies for all tastes and it is a great way for families to enjoy the outdoors and our Monroe County Parks.”
