Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today announced that Breeze Airways will begin non-stop service to Fort Myers, Florida (RSW) from the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) on January 8, 2026. The newest airline in the ROC portfolio, Breeze will begin twice a week flights to Fort Myers on Thursdays and Sundays.

“Whether you’re planning a family vacation or a weekend getaway with friends, Fort Myers is now just one easy flight away from home thanks to new non-stop service on Breeze Airways,” said County Executive Bello. “This new route gives travelers even more affordable and convenient options to enjoy Florida’s Gulf Coast and all that it has to offer – from its stunning beaches to its vibrant culture and so much more. We appreciate Breeze's ongoing support and investment at the ROC Airport, which continues to grow thanks to new budget-friendly, non-stop routes to in-demand destinations.”

“We started service in Rochester just a few months ago and we’ve been pleased with the response we’ve received from the community so far,” said David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways. “We’re excited to bring a new seasonal route to community members this winter and look forward to continuing to grow our service at ROC.”

Fort Myers is the fifth route for Breeze Airways since starting operations at ROC in May of this year. Other non-stop and BreezeThru locations include:

  • Charleston, S.C. (Non-stop, Thursdays and Sundays)
