Dinolfo: Jetblue Airways Announces New Non-Stop Service To Boston (Bos)

Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced that JetBlue Airways will begin daily, non-stop service from the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), beginning in January 2019.

“We are proud to have worked closely with JetBlue to secure this daily, non-stop flight to Boston, one of our top destinations for local travelers,” said Dinolfo. “Securing convenient, affordable flights continues to be one of Monroe County’s top priorities for our Airport. Between our transformational ROC Renovation project and our continued commitment to adding new non-stop flights here, our Airport is well positioned to attract more visitors and more jobs to our community moving forward.”

This new service connects area travelers to JetBlue’s largest market with over 150 daily flights to 53 destinations. The flight is on an Embraer E-190, which is a 100 seat aircraft.

The new non-stop flight will increase competition on the BOS route and open up connections through BOS for ROC passengers to major cities including the Caribbean and Latin America.

JetBlue Airways will offer the following daily, non-stop flights beginning service on January 8, 2019:

From To Departs Arrives Frequency
ROC BOS 9:50 a.m. 11:17 a.m. Daily Service Service Begins: 1/8/19
BOS ROC 2:30 p.m. 4:06 p.m. Daily Service Service Begins: 1/8/19

JetBlue Airways also offers three daily non-stop flights between Rochester and New York City – John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
