Clinical Risk Coordinator (HELP Program)

Description of Duties

This is a professional position at Monroe Community Hospital responsible for identifying, reviewing, and investigating potential violations of facility policy and procedure as well as State and Federal regulations, with focus on patient safety and prevention of resident abuse, neglect, and mistreatment.  The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a Quality Assurance Manager or other higher-level staff member.  Does related work as required

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER:

1. Graduation with a Bachelor's degree, plus one (1) year paid full‑time or its part‑time equivalent experience working in risk management or quality activities in a health-related field; OR,
2. Graduation with an Associate’s degree, plus three (3) years paid full‑time or its part‑time equivalent experience as described in (A) above; OR,
3. Five (5) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience as described in (A) above; OR,
4. An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C) above.
