Vaccine Info / Appointments

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello announced today that Pfizer booster shots are available for 12-15 year olds at several county-run vaccination sites.

This month, the FDA approved Pfizer booster doses for kids ages 12-15 years old. The CDC is recommending children in this age group get a booster shot five months after they received a second vaccine dose. Those younger than 18 years old will need consent from a parent or guardian. Guardians must be present at the site and must also bring acceptable ID to the clinics.

Information on walk-in allowance, locations and appointments can be found online at https://www.monroecounty.gov/health-covid19-vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccines are FREE to everyone regardless of health insurance status. For more information on additional vaccination opportunities in the Finger Lakes Region, visit the Finger Lakes Region Vaccination Hub’s appointment finder at https://flvaccinehub.com/getting-your-vaccine/.
