Monroe County Executive Adam Bello is pleased to announce that the Monroe County Department of Public Health is partnering with the Greece Community and Senior Center to host a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Thursday, May 13 from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. The clinic will have the capacity to distribute 300 first doses of the vaccine in the 6-hour window.

“With a steady allocation of COVID-19 vaccine in our community, we are now able to bring it closer to where people live,” Bello says. “We realize that not everyone is comfortable visiting a mass vaccination site or has the ability to get there. By bringing the vaccine closer to our neighborhoods and in the community, we can improve access and familiarity for those still in need. This is a great opportunity for Greece residents, and we’re pleased to be able to bring this pop-up clinic to the Greece community.”

“On behalf of our Greece residents, I am thrilled that we can finally offer a convenient vaccine location to our community right here on Town Hall Campus,” said Supervisor Bill Reilich.  “I’ve heard from many seniors and residents of all ages that they were hoping to have something closer to home and in an environment that they are familiar with.  We are thankful to have worked this arrangement out with the County and that the town will be able to provide a location for vaccination opportunities,” Reilich continued.

The COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be located at 3 Vince Tofany Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612. It is FREE to everyone regardless of health insurance status. The clinic will be offering the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine only, which is approved for anyone over the age of 16. Information on walk-in allowance and appointments can be made online at https://www.monroecounty.gov/health-covid19-vaccine, or by calling the Monroe County COVID-19 Hotline at (585) 753-5555.
